Dr. Newman is a native of Puerto Rico and bilingual in English and Spanish. After attending dental school in Michigan, she moved to Florida to practice, and in 2010, she came to Houston with her family and joined Dr. Gray. Today, she says that our team and her patients feel like extended family, and she can’t wait to welcome you and your loved ones into our dental office.
Dr. Newman attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Psychology. She decided to stay in Ann Arbor to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan School Of Dentistry. These days, she attends numerous lectures, hands-on workshops, and continuing education courses every year to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry. Dr. Newman also keeps up to date on such treatments as Invisalign and is a Certified Preferred Provider of Invisalign.
Dr. Newman’s life outside of dentistry revolves around her husband and their two boys as well as her extended family. She also enjoys traveling, watersports, shopping, and scrapbooking.
