Teamwork by Design

Mark Gray, DDS

Dr. Gray graduated in 1983 from the University of Texas Dental School, right here in Houston, and has worked to develop an excellent practice ever since. Although at that time it was quite rare to find a dentist truly skilled at cosmetic services, he quickly became one of the few to learn about that area of dentistry. He wanted to be able to provide his patients with not only functional but esthetically pleasing smiles. While initially this meant things as simple as tooth-colored fillings and an early type of veneers, Dr. Gray has continued to stay abreast of the latest advances in cosmetic dentistry throughout the growth of his practice.

Dr. Gray enhances his education by associating with The Spear Education Group www.speareducation.com where he continues to be a Faculty Club Member, The Houston chapter of the Seattle Study Club www.seattlestudyclub.com, and The Houston chapter of the Cerec Study Club. Dr. Gray is also a graduate of the Hornbrook Group - Advanced Education in Asthetic and Restorative Dentistry. These organizations focus on advanced restorative concepts and cosmetic care.

Dr. Gray’s professional memberships include the American Dental Association, the www.tda.org/Texas Dental Association, the www.ghds.org Greater Houston Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

The Team

We think you'll find that our staff conveys an immediate and sincere friendliness…helping you feel comfortable about your dental visit from the moment you set foot in our office. And that's not an accident, it's by design. We've made it a point to learn how to work together as a team, each carrying out our individual roles while simultaneously supporting the others' efforts. This means daily 'case review' meetings, monthly discussions for larger issues, and practice management consultants to keep us objective and efficient. Plus, we've worked together for years and have no plans to go elsewhere. So when we say hello, you'll know us and we'll know you. And you'll know that you're going to receive carefully planned, orchestrated, and effective dental care.

Gina A.

Gina joined our team in August of 2010 as our hygiene coordinator. Her passion for serving patients comes from a combined total of over ten years of chair-side and front office assisting. Her desire for continued education in the dental field helps her to understand our patients’ needs and concerns and inspires her to help keep you current with your dental hygiene appointments. Outside of work, church and a blended family with six children, she enjoys running marathons with her husband and helps to coach others to achieve that goal.

Rowena

I became a dental hygienist in 1989 after several years working as a dental assistant. I have been a part of Dr. Mark Gray’s dental practice since 2003. My how time flies when you are doing something that you are called to do with your life! It is about service, yet it goes beyond the work. It is about relationships that you make with your patients and your fellow team members. It is an extended family. I have been blessed to be able to make great friends through my work, many of whom have been with me for over 20 years! I enjoy being with people, getting to know them, and also helping them achieve good dental health. It is important for me to be able to make my patients feel comfortable and confident that I have given them my best. I love helping them find that their experience with dentistry can be a good one. I love those smiles! Apart from the office, I adore my husband of 38 years, our three children – the youngest of which is at A & M, and our 6 granddaughters.
